Community Reminder: No Sidewalk Parking
Dear Neighbors,
Parking on sidewalks is strictly prohibited within Hawkes Bluff. Sidewalks must remain clear and accessible for pedestrians, children, and emergency access at all times.
Vehicles found parked on sidewalks may be subject to a citation by the Town of Davie Police Department.
We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our neighborhood safe and walkable for everyone.

Recap for April 28, 2026 Quarterly Meeting
Dear Neighbors,
On April 28, 2026, our quarterly meeting took place.
The meeting was attended by Town of Davie officials. A request was made for a list of those who attended and that list is set forth under our FAQ Page.
The town was represented by Town Administrator, Richard J. Lemack, who is familiar with our Hawkes Bluff neighborhood and its history. The meeting provided an excellent opportunity for the board and members to receive information and pose questions to the officials.
🏗️ Street Repaving — Great News!
Mr. Lemack started with revealing the best news of the evening. Our community streets are slated to be re-graded and paved later this year or next year following commencement of the town's fiscal period of 2026–2027.
Many other issues were also addressed which will be summarized in our minutes. The Town emphasized its willingness to address any concerns our community may have — but it all starts with communication. We encourage everyone to utilize the contact list below to address concerns.
Community Reminder: Leash Requirements for Dogs
Dear Neighbors,
For the safety and comfort of all residents, please be reminded that all dogs must be kept on a leash at all times while in common areas of the community.
Leash requirements help protect children, families, and other pets. Dog owners are expected to remain attentive and in control of their pets while outdoors.
Additionally, please remember to pick up after your dogs and properly dispose of pet waste to help keep our community clean and enjoyable for everyone.

Message from the president
Dear Neighbors,
This is my first message following my election to the board and appointment as President. Thank you for your support. I look forward to serving you, my neighbors, and the community. We also welcome new directors Richard Bouabdallah who will address construction approvals, and other duties, and Jim Gibbons, who, along with our contractor Joyful Homes and Andrea Joy, will address covenant violations, as well as other duties.
A few items to address.
We are still in the process of amending the covenants.
The proposed changes address: (1) The association’s maintenance responsibilities of the wood fencing along I-75; (2) the number of votes to change the covenants; (3) the type of permitted metal roofs, and (4) other necessary changes.
Repairs have been completed for general lighting at our entrances with installation of missing lights and overall brighter lighting. We also decreased voltage for safety. You will also see that our Holiday Lighting has been installed to brighten the season! The North Hawkes Bluff entrance holiday lighting has returned! Yeah! Enjoy!
