HOLIDAY DECORATING CONTEST WINNERS
Over the past few years the board has chosen to make awards in several categories in appreciation of the lovely holiday displays in our neighborhood.

CONGRATULATIONS to all our winners. This year the task of judging was harder than ever with so many beautifully decorated homes. Awards for this year's winners will be presented at the next quarterly meeting to be held on TUESDAY JANUARY 23rd, 2001 at 7:30pm in the Fire Station Community Room.
Residents are encouraged to get out and take a look at these delightful winning displays and also to walk around the neighborhood to see the many displays that make our development a delight at this time of year.
REMINDER
BRIARWOODS LIGHT UP
On December 24th, Briarwood Manor and Briarwood Way will be holding their TWELFTH annual candle-lit street-long luminaire. Stroll or cycle over to see this and join in the partying on the street with your neighbors who will all be outside enjoying this beautiful scene
REMINDER
WATERING RESTRICTIONS
The South Florida Water Management district has declared watering restrictions and these are still in effect. Residents are reminded that restrictions on the use of water apply not only to city water but to lake and well water too. The rules are easy enough to remember - all watering (lawns, etc) to be done between 4am and 8am. Those with odd-numbered addresses can water on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Even number addresses can water on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. To learn more please call 1-800-662-8876
PEOPLE NEWS
This is never a good time of year to be in the hospital and our best wishes for a speedy recovery go out to Lance Catty of Briarwood Way who is in the hospital recovering from a bad fall.

If you need a copy of the bylaws please read them on the web-site or contact your board for a copy, which will be provided at a nominal charge of 25¢ per page.
