Special Board Meeting
Date: Monday, July 26, 1999
Location: Mo Christie's House
Directors Present: Howard Neu, Mo Christie, Gretchen Farmer, John Pickett, Mike Murphy and Jay Stahl
Director Absent: Don Elbert
The meeting was commenced at 7:35 P.M. The purpose of the meeting was to review landscape bids which were recently received, and to review items that would be placed on the agenda for the General Meeting to be held Tuesday, July 27, 1999.
1. LANDSCAPE BIDS
There were three bids submitted, by the following companies: (a) Just Perfect; (b) Miele Brothers; and (c) Pan American. After consideration of the three bids, it was unanimously decided that the bid of Miele Brothers was excessively high and should not be considered. Upon further review of the remaining two bids, upon motion made by Mike Murphy, and duly seconded by Jay Stahl, and upon unanimous vote, the bid of Pan American was accepted. The bid totaled $23,890.00, which comprised both Parcel A - $3,315.00 and Parcel B (Hawkes Bluff) - $23,890.00.
Howard Neu, if not already done, would inform Just Perfect (Suso) of the termination of the landscaping contract with his company.
The commencement date of the landscaping contract with Pan American would commence September 1, 1999, if the termination letter had not previously been sent by Howard. If sent, it would commence August 15, 1999.
2. NORTH ENTRANCE SIGN
Mike Murphy presented the bid and drawing submitted by Sign-A-Rama (Rolf Bodstrom), for the north entrance sign. The total bid was $3,500.00 (not including taxes and permit fees). This information will be presented to the General Meeting and then will be considered by the Board.
